Entry implies knowledge and acceptance of the rules and conditions by competitors and/or their guardians.
The judges’ decisions are final.
Horseboxes must not be mucked out on the showground or in the parking area and all litter is to be placed in the bins provided.
No horse or pony may be entered more than once in any class, except Clear Round and/or Handy Pony.
No horse or pony under the age of 4 may compete in any ridden class.
No refund of entry will be made unless a doctor’s or vet’s certificate is supplied ( except in the event of show cancellation - the organisers reserve the right to retain 25% of the entry fee to cover administration costs ).
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without stating a reason for doing so.
The organisers reserve the right to close entries for any class and to vary the order, timing or composition of the schedule if considered expedient.
The organisers reserve the right to exclude from the showground anyone who is acting in a manner likely to bring the name of the club into disrepute.
Competitiors must report to the ring steward 15 minutes before the start of the class. Those competitors not ready at the time given may be eliminated.
Any horse or pony considered being a hazard or apparently not under control will be asked to leave the showground, and entry fees will be forfeited.
Anyone ill treating an animal will be asked to leave the showground, and entry fees will be forfeited.
Any objections must be lodged with the secretary in writing with a £10 deposit and within 10 minutes of the class ending.
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, neither the organisers of any event to which the rules apply nor the B.H.S. nor any agents, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any loss, damage, injury or illness to horse, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.
Competitions will be run under Riding Club Rules. Hats must be approved to PAS015 / EN1834 standard and must be worn at all times whilst mounted.


Ring One ~ Clear Round

Starting at 8-45a.m.
Clear Round Jumping at various heights to suit. Entry £2 per round or
£5 for three ‘goes’. Tickets must be purchased from the Secretary’s tent.

Ring Two ~ Show Jumping

Intended for genuine newcomers to jumping - entrants may not compete in Intermediate or Open Jumping. Assistance in the ring permitted, including leading.

Entries close on the Monday preceding the event.
No water available on site, and strictly no dogs allowed, thank you!

All jumping, ridden and in-hand classes
£5 members / £9 non members
Pairs class £10 members / £18 non members.

Clear Round entries available on the day.

Late entries may be accepted, providing there is space, at an
additional charge of £1 per class.

All entries are subject to a £2 fee per rider / handler for
medical cover, please add this onto your entry. Thank you.
